How do RVNs set their prices?
Each Registered Veterinary Nurse on zumi is self-employed and sets their own rates based on their experience, location, and the services they offer. You will always see the price clearly before you confirm a booking — there are no surprises.
Is there a booking fee for pet owners?
No booking fee is charged to pet owners. zumi is free to download and free to use. You pay only the price shown by the RVN for their services.
How do I pay?
Payments are processed securely through the zumi app using Stripe. We accept all major debit and credit cards. Payment is only taken after your booking is confirmed.
What does zumi charge RVNs?
zumi charges RVNs a small platform fee per completed booking only — there are no monthly subscriptions, no joining fees, and no upfront costs. RVNs keep the majority of their earnings.
Can prices vary by location?
Yes. RVNs set their own rates, so prices may vary by area. Rates in London and the South East may be higher than in other regions, reflecting local cost of living — just as they would for any service.
